Uppal, October 17: Uppal MLA Bandari Lakshma Reddy Shivalayam Commitee organised a Varuna Yagam at the Shiva Temple in Chilukanagar, praying for abundant rainfall across Telangana, a bountiful harvest and the well-being and prosperity of the people.on the occasion, the MLA performed special prayers, seeking the blessings of Lord Varuna for good rainfall throughout the state.He expressed his hope that farmers would receive sufficient water for irrigation, crops would yield a good harvest and farming families would prosper. He also prayed for the health, happiness and well-being of all people.Prayers were offered for favourable weather conditions, the replenishment of lakes and ponds, the development of the agricultural sector and the overall prosperity of Telangana.Shiva Temple Committee Chairman Dasari Krishna, temple committee members and local BRS leaders Gudi Madhusudhan Reddy, Eerelli Ravinder Reddy, Kompally Ravinder, Jelly Mohan, Palle Narsinga Rao, Akiti Bal Reddy and others participated in the programme.
