UPPAL NEWS – Police officials felicitated police personnel for their efficient services and strict security arrangements during the Indian Premier League (IPL)-7 matches held at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Uppal.On the occasion, Uppal Sub-Inspectors Chiranjeevi and Madhu, along with Head Constable Jangaiah, were honoured with mementoes for their dedicated service. The programme was attended by Malkajgiri Police Commissioner Sumathi, Uppal Zone DCP Suresh, Additional DCP Venkataramana, ACP Venkat Reddy, SHO Ramalinga Reddy and DI Ravikumar.Sunrisers Hyderabad cricketer Abhishek Sharma also participated in the event and appreciated the services rendered by the police personnel.Officials stated that despite a huge turnout of spectators during the matches, the police ensured foolproof security arrangements and prevented any untoward incidents.
