
Uppal, September 30 : Uppal MLA Bandari Lakshma Reddy said that government welfare and development schemes are being implemented in a highly transparent manner. He stated that the selection of beneficiaries under the Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak schemes is being carried out through a transparent process.He said that, as per the directions of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, cheques worth Rs.1,00,116 are being distributed to eligible beneficiaries.A cheque distribution programme was held at the Uppal MRO Office for 71 beneficiaries from Uppal Mandal under the Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak schemes. MLA Bandari Lakshma Reddy attended the programme as the chief guest and distributed the cheques to the beneficiaries.Speaking on the occasion, Lakshma Reddy said that the distribution of cheques should be carried out transparently, as directed by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He said the government is providing financial assistance of Rs.1,00,116 under the scheme and instructed officials to take necessary measures accordingly. He stressed that there should be no mistakes in the selection of beneficiaries under any circumstances.He said the Congress government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, is taking several measures for the welfare of people belonging to all sections of society.Uppal MRO Pool Singh Chauhan said beneficiaries should make proper use of the development and welfare schemes being implemented by the state government. He said steps are being taken to ensure that every eligible person receives the benefits of the schemes.He further stated that the selection of beneficiaries under the Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak schemes was carried out in a transparent manner. The state government is implementing several programmes and welfare schemes for the development and welfare of all sections of society, he added.Deputy Tahsildar B. Sripal, Uppal RIs M. Ashwini Goud and M. Raghava, Junior Assistants M. Anantha Ramulu, M. Aliveli and P. Venkanna, revenue staff, BRS leaders and activists, among others, participated in the programme.
