

Hyderabad, July 12, 2026: Hyderabad E-Champions emerged as the champions of the inaugural Sreenidhi University TG20 Tournament after defeating Anvita Khammam Aces by six wickets in a thrilling final played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Sunday.Led by captain Abhirath Reddy, the E-Champions completed a dominant campaign by successfully chasing 158 runs in just 17.3 overs. Abhirath played a captain’s knock of 48 runs off 30 balls, while Vaishnav Reddy remained unbeaten on 41 off 28 deliveries. Shanmukha Ashwin also made a valuable contribution with 36 runs as Hyderabad sealed victory with 15 balls to spare.Earlier, after being put into bat, Anvita Khammam Aces posted 157/8 in their allotted 20 overs. Mickil Jaiswal top-scored with a brilliant 65 off 39 balls, while Himateja Kodimela added 31 runs. The E-Champions’ bowling attack was led by Yashveer Goud, who produced a match-winning spell of 3 wickets for 17 runs. Dev Mehta claimed 2/25, while Shanmukha Ashwin and Ajay Dev Goud picked up two wickets each to restrict the Aces.Despite losing an early wicket during the chase, Hyderabad E-Champions recovered strongly through a crucial partnership between Abhirath Reddy and Shanmukha Ashwin. Vaishnav Reddy and Pranav Varma then ensured there were no late setbacks, stitching together an unbeaten 51-run stand to guide their side to a memorable title triumph.For his outstanding bowling performance, Yashveer Goud was named the Player of the Match.
