CHENNAI NEWS – MS Dhoni and Shivam Dube’s cames at the end helped Chennai Super Kings to win their first game after five consecutive defeats against Lucknow Super Giants in Lucknow on Monday. The game looked in the balance however, LSG bowlers could not hold on to their nerve in the final overs.Earlier MS Dhoni won the toss and asked Lucknow to bat first who managed to score 166/7 after 20 overs. Rishabh Pant was the top scorer for the hosts with his 63(49) and Ravindra Jadeja was the pick of the bowlers for the visitors with two wickets With the result now Lucknow in seven games has four wins and three losses standing fourth on the points table. Meanwhile, Chennai registered their second win in a second win in seven games but continued to stay at the bottom of the table.
